I draw illustrations of animals, mainly birds, with love and care.
I grew up in Kamogawa-shi, Chiba, JAPAN, surrounded by the sea, mountains, and rice fields and painted animals, plants, and many other things every week at a painting class. I also lived for four years in Northern Ireland and was fascinated by sweet songs of blackbirds and the loveliness of robins there. I feel as if I were playing with birds and animals when drawing them.
Using oil-based colored pencils, I try to draw animals that are both realistic and adorable, just like pictures in illustrated reference books, with clear and vivid colors.
